Overview

Ray’s Lead Capture (RLC) is a WordPress lead-generation plugin developed by Ray SEO Company. It allows website owners to create, customize, display, and manage popup and inline campaigns using ready-made templates, visual themes, and built-in campaign analytics.

Ray’s Lead Capture Core is available free of charge. Optional graphics packs extend its visual capabilities without requiring a paid subscription.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Ray’s Lead Capture or its optional graphics packs, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If you do not agree to these terms, you should discontinue use of the software.

Editions and Availability

Ray’s Lead Capture Core — Free Edition

RLC Core provides campaign creation, template selection, theme customization, popup and inline campaign functionality, campaign management, and built-in analytics.

The Core edition is free to use and does not require a paid subscription or commercial license activation to access its included features.

Optional Graphics Packs — Free Add-ons

Ray’s Lead Capture supports the following optional graphics packs:

• RLC Graphics Pack – Seasons

• RLC Graphics Pack – Industries

These add-ons provide background images for compatible campaign themes and are available free of charge.

The graphics packs require a compatible installation of Ray’s Lead Capture Core to provide their intended functionality.

Ray’s Lead Capture Pro — Coming Soon

Ray SEO Company may introduce a commercial Pro edition with additional features, services, and capabilities.

Any future Pro edition, premium subscription, paid support arrangement, or commercial service may be subject to separate pricing, licensing, and subscription terms.

The availability of free Core features does not constitute a promise that all future products or services will be provided free of charge.

License and Permitted Use

Ray’s Lead Capture is WordPress software intended for use on websites operated by individuals, businesses, organizations, agencies, and website developers.

The software is distributed subject to the license terms included with the applicable plugin package.

Where Ray’s Lead Capture Core and its add-ons are distributed under the GNU General Public License version 2 or later (GPL v2+), users may exercise the rights granted by that license, including the applicable rights to use, study, modify, and redistribute the GPL-licensed software.

These Terms of Service do not restrict rights granted under the applicable open-source license.

Users must preserve copyright notices and comply with any applicable requirements when redistributing modified or unmodified copies.

Trademarks, product names, logos, and branding associated with Ray SEO Company are not automatically licensed for unrestricted use merely because the software is distributed under an open-source license.

Free Use and Fees

Ray’s Lead Capture Core and the currently available free graphics packs do not require payment to access their included functionality.

There are no mandatory subscription or renewal fees for use of the free Core features.

Website owners may use the free software for personal, business, and client website projects, subject to the applicable software license.

Ray SEO Company reserves the right to offer separate paid products, support arrangements, premium services, or future editions.

Any such paid offering will be identified separately and will not automatically create a payment obligation for existing users of the free Core software.

Software Installation and Compatibility

Ray’s Lead Capture is designed to operate within compatible WordPress installations.

Its operation depends on the website’s hosting environment, WordPress version, PHP version, installed themes, plugins, configuration, and other technical factors.

Although Ray SEO Company aims to maintain compatibility with supported WordPress environments, it does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every hosting platform, theme, plugin, page builder, or third-party service.

Users are responsible for verifying compatibility with their websites and testing significant changes before deploying them to production environments.

Campaign Creation and Content

Ray’s Lead Capture enables users to create and publish promotional campaigns, lead-capture messages, calls to action, and other marketing content.

The website owner is responsible for all campaign content created, configured, or published using the plugin.

This includes responsibility for ensuring that:

• Campaign messages are accurate and not misleading.

• Promotional claims comply with applicable advertising and consumer protection laws.

• Images, text, graphics, and other materials are used with appropriate permissions.

• Campaigns do not contain unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or infringing content.

• Calls to action and linked destinations are appropriate and lawful.

• Campaigns comply with applicable accessibility and consumer protection requirements.

Ray SEO Company does not review, approve, or endorse individual campaigns created by website owners.

Lead Collection and Visitor Privacy

Ray’s Lead Capture can be used to display forms and encourage visitors to submit information or interact with website campaigns.

Website owners are solely responsible for determining what information they collect, why it is collected, how it is processed, and how long it is retained.

This includes responsibility for:

• Providing appropriate privacy notices.

• Obtaining consent where required.

• Complying with applicable data protection and electronic marketing laws.

• Implementing suitable data security measures.

• Responding to requests relating to personal information.

• Establishing appropriate retention and deletion policies.

• Ensuring that integrated form plugins and third-party services are configured lawfully.

Ray SEO Company does not become responsible for a website owner’s collection or processing of visitor information merely because the website uses RLC.

Campaign Analytics

RLC Core includes built-in analytics designed to help website owners measure campaign performance.

Depending on the plugin configuration, analytics may include campaign views, unique visitor measurements, lead or conversion events, and other campaign interaction statistics.

Analytics and conversion measurements are provided for informational purposes.

Ray SEO Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted availability of analytics statistics.

Results may vary due to factors such as browser restrictions, caching, privacy controls, visitor behavior, third-party integrations, and the website’s technical environment.

Website owners are responsible for determining whether their use of analytics requires additional privacy disclosures, visitor consent, or other compliance measures.

Third-Party Forms and Integrations

Ray’s Lead Capture supports the use of compatible WordPress form plugins through shortcodes.

These forms may collect, store, email, or transmit visitor information according to the configuration and functionality of the selected form plugin or service.

Ray SEO Company is not responsible for:

• Data collection or processing by third-party form plugins.

• Availability or operation of external email marketing platforms.

• Third-party subscription, CRM, or marketing services.

• Security vulnerabilities in independently developed software.

• Service interruptions or changes introduced by third-party providers.

• Data loss or delivery failures caused by third-party integrations.

Third-party products and services are governed by their respective terms, licenses, and privacy policies.

The website owner is responsible for reviewing and accepting those terms.

Optional Graphics Packs and Visual Assets

RLC Graphics Pack – Seasons and RLC Graphics Pack – Industries provide additional visual backgrounds for compatible campaign designs.

These graphics are intended for use with the plugin in accordance with the licenses and usage terms supplied with the applicable packages.

Users must not assume that every image, logo, font, or third-party asset included in or displayed alongside the software is subject to identical licensing terms.

Any redistribution or reuse of independently licensed assets must comply with their applicable licenses.

Ray SEO Company does not guarantee that every graphics pack background will be suitable for every campaign, layout, device, or intended marketing use.

Website Developer and Template Developer Use

Website developers, WordPress template developers, theme authors, agencies, and freelancers may use Ray’s Lead Capture when developing websites for clients, subject to the applicable software and asset licenses.

Developers are responsible for ensuring that plugin distribution, theme packaging, bundled assets, and client handover practices comply with applicable licensing requirements.

Compatibility with a particular WordPress template or theme should be tested before being represented as supported.

Any independent services charged by a developer, including website development, customization, installation, or support, are separate from Ray SEO Company’s free Core plugin offering.

Security and Maintenance

Ray SEO Company aims to follow established WordPress development and security practices.

However, the security and reliability of a WordPress website depend on the complete software and hosting environment.

Users are responsible for:

• Maintaining updated WordPress software, plugins, and themes.

• Using appropriate administrator permissions and secure credentials.

• Maintaining regular website and database backups.

• Applying security updates and monitoring website activity.

• Testing plugin updates and major configuration changes.

• Securing collected visitor information.

• Maintaining appropriate hosting and server configurations.

No software can be guaranteed to be completely free from vulnerabilities, defects, or operational interruptions.

Support and Updates

Ray SEO Company may release updates to improve functionality, compatibility, usability, or security.

The availability, frequency, and scope of updates may vary.

Unless separately agreed in writing, downloading or using the free Core edition does not create an entitlement to guaranteed response times, individualized technical support, custom development, or perpetual maintenance.

Ray SEO Company may offer additional support options or premium services separately.

No Guarantee of Marketing Results

Ray’s Lead Capture is intended to assist website owners in creating and managing lead-generation campaigns.

Ray SEO Company does not guarantee any particular number of leads, enquiries, subscribers, conversions, sales, or revenue.

Campaign performance depends on numerous factors outside the plugin’s control, including website traffic, campaign design, marketing strategy, offers, audience behavior, website usability, and third-party services.

Any examples, demonstrations, screenshots, or promotional materials are provided for illustration and do not constitute a guarantee of specific business results.

No Warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ray’s Lead Capture and its optional add-ons are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Ray SEO Company disclaims, to the extent legally permitted, warranties including but not limited to:

• Merchantability.

• Fitness for a particular purpose.

• Non-infringement.

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation.

• Compatibility with all WordPress installations.

• Accuracy or completeness of analytics.

• Achievement of specific marketing or business outcomes.

Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ray SEO Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, Ray’s Lead Capture.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Loss of website data or campaign information.

• Loss of leads, enquiries, or form submissions.

• Business interruption or website downtime.

• Loss of revenue, profits, or business opportunities.

• Security incidents or unauthorized access.

• Third-party software or service failures.

• Inaccurate analytics or campaign reporting.

• Incompatibility with WordPress themes, plugins, or hosting environments.

Any limitation or exclusion applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Changes to the Plugin

Ray SEO Company may modify, improve, discontinue, or introduce features, subject to applicable legal obligations.

Features may change as WordPress evolves or as compatibility, security, and product development requirements arise.

Ray SEO Company may also introduce additional optional add-ons or future commercial editions.

Changes to future commercial offerings do not override the rights granted to users under the applicable open-source licenses for copies of software they have already received.

Changes to These Terms

Ray SEO Company may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in product functionality, business operations, or applicable legal requirements.

Updated versions will be published on the Ray SEO Company website with a revised Last Updated date.

Where permitted by applicable law, continued use of Ray SEO Company services after revised terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Updates to these Terms do not retroactively remove rights granted under the applicable open-source software license.
