Overview

Ray’s Lead Capture (RLC) is a WordPress lead-generation plugin developed by Ray SEO Company. It enables website owners to create, customize, display, and manage popup and inline lead-capture campaigns using ready-made templates, visual themes, and a Campaign Builder.

RLC Core is available free of charge and includes campaign creation, design customization, display functionality, campaign management, and built-in analytics.

Optional RLC Graphics Pack – Seasons and RLC Graphics Pack – Industries plugins provide additional background images for compatible campaign themes.

RLC Core is designed to operate within the WordPress website where it is installed. Campaign configuration, content, display settings, and locally recorded analytics are managed through the website owner’s WordPress installation.

Ray SEO Company does not operate a central service for collecting the leads, form submissions, or campaign analytics generated by websites using RLC Core.

Website owners are responsible for their use of RLC, including the personal information they choose to collect through campaigns and any third-party form plugins or services they integrate.

Free Core Plugin and Licensing

Ray’s Lead Capture Core

RLC Core is a free WordPress plugin that does not require a paid subscription or license key to use its included features.

The free Core edition does not require license activation or subscription verification with Ray SEO Company servers.

An expanded RLC Pro edition may be offered in the future. Any additional data processing associated with future commercial licensing, subscription services, or premium integrations will be described in the applicable privacy policy when those services become available.

Campaign Data and Configuration

RLC stores information required to create and manage campaigns within the website owner’s WordPress installation.

Depending on how campaigns are configured, this may include:

• Campaign names and identifiers

• Campaign content, headlines, and descriptions

• Call-to-action text and settings

• Selected templates and visual themes

• Typography and appearance settings

• Campaign display and targeting configurations

Ray SEO Company does not receive these submissions merely because a website uses RLC.

• RLC Graphics Pack – Industries

These plugins provide additional background images for compatible campaign designs.

The graphics packs are intended to supply visual assets within the website’s WordPress installation.

They do not independently require visitors to submit personal information to Ray SEO Company.

Installing a graphics pack does not enroll the website owner in a paid subscription or require a commercial RLC license.

Third-Party Plugins and Services

Website owners may use Ray’s Lead Capture alongside other WordPress plugins and services, including:

• Email marketing and newsletter services

• Customer relationship management systems

• Website analytics tools

• Security and anti-spam services

• Advertising and marketing platforms

RLC does not control how these third-party products collect, transmit, store, or process information.

Data Storage and Retention

Campaign Data

Campaign settings and configuration information remain within the website owner’s WordPress installation until modified, deleted, or removed through the applicable plugin and website management processes.

Campaign Analytics

Locally stored analytics may remain available for reporting until the associated data is deleted or the website owner removes it through the available management tools or database administration processes.

Form Submissions

Form submission retention is determined by the third-party form plugin, service, or website configuration responsible for processing those submissions.

Plugin Removal

RLC includes an option relating to deletion of plugin data during uninstallation. Website owners should review this setting before removing the plugin.

Deactivating a WordPress plugin does not necessarily delete its previously stored data.

Website owners remain responsible for establishing appropriate retention and deletion practices for their websites.

Data Access, Correction, and Deletion

The website owner is responsible for responding to requests concerning personal information collected through campaigns hosted on their website.

Depending on applicable privacy laws, visitors may have rights to:

• Withdraw consent where consent is the applicable legal basis

Requests relating to information submitted through an RLC campaign should generally be directed to the operator of the website displaying that campaign.

Ray SEO Company cannot independently access, correct, or delete personal data stored in a third-party website’s WordPress database.

Data Security

RLC is developed using WordPress APIs and security practices intended to protect plugin administration and data processing.

However, no WordPress plugin can independently guarantee the security of an entire website.

Children’s Privacy

RLC is a general-purpose WordPress lead-capture plugin and is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children.

Website owners who use RLC on websites directed toward children, or who collect information from minors, are responsible for complying with applicable children’s privacy and consent requirements.

RLC Core is intended to store its campaign configuration and analytics data within the website owner’s WordPress environment.
