Purpose and installation

The Industries add-on supplies backgrounds for compatible industry themes. It uses the same style-registry and background-provider integration as Seasons, but limits matching to industry styles.

Industry categories

The reviewed design inventory includes categories such as Ecommerce & Retail, SaaS & Software, Real Estate, Education & Training, Legal Services, Fitness & Wellness, Home Services, Nonprofit & Charities, and others.

Image file organization

Use assets/backgrounds/{industry}/{theme-slug}.webp or .avif. Industry styles registered in nested directories should follow the add-on’s documented background-folder convention.

Using both packs

Seasons and Industries can coexist; each should resolve only the styles it owns. A theme with no matching image continues to use CSS theme styling.

Image maintenance

Optimize background photographs, retain a backup of images, and check the filename-to-theme mapping when adding assets. Avoid text embedded into backgrounds, where crop and contrast can make it unreadable.
